Dispatch:

We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 2:00pm (Monday-Friday) to our chosen courier on the same day. Any orders placed after 2:00pm will be dispatched the next working day. We will send an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched by our warehouse. From here any further correspondence will be sent from our courier team, giving you full tracking of your order from dispatch to expected delivery.

Delivery & Tracking:

Tracked delivery is sent via Royal Mail on a 48-hour service, with no signature required upon delivery. You can track your order in full, once it's been received by the courier, by clicking on the tracking number in your dispatch email. Royal Mail aim to deliver your parcel within 2-3 working days (inc. Saturdays) but their delivery date is only an estimate.

Christmas Delivery Information:

During the festive period, delivery networks experience significantly higher demand, which can occasionally lead to delays. While our standard delivery timeframe is 3–5 working days, please be aware that orders placed throughout the Christmas season may take longer to arrive.

We kindly recommend allowing additional time for your delivery during this busy period. Our team and courier partners will always do their utmost to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible, but meeting our usual delivery window may not always be achievable at this time of year.

We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged or received the wrong item, and we will only replace with the same item(s) as per your original order. - Your full name and order number.

Chocolates for everyone

Not only do whitakers chocolates taste delicious, service and delivery fantastic but as a skiptoner it means I can buy local. I don't have to worry if people I gift to are vegan, so I bulk buy which turns out cheaper than buying individual boxes of chocolates then I make gift boxes and fill with selections of these fabulous chocolates. All three tubs were fine. Nice flavour, like the tubs and the foil too. Only minor observation is that they are very sweet indeed for my taste. No doubt I’ll get used to them but would like it if the sugar could be dialled down a notch so the flavour comes through more. I’m a former Beeches customer, so maybe it’s a difference between the two sides of the Pennines, but I’ll certainly be back for more. Always like to support a British family business wherever I can.

For me, both the coffee fondants and especially the black cherry are too sour. These are supposed to be 'sweets' after all. Others such as mint, orange & strawberry all excellent. I.would have bought some truffles but the price of those went up 30% this year.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you favour some of our fondant creams. We know not every flavour will be enjoyed by everyone, and people will always have their own favourites. With regards to the truffle pricing, the cocoa market has been heavily hit recently with rising prices, whilst we try and absorb as many of these costs as we can, we simply had to make the decision to increase the costs of certain products, truffles being one of them as they are made using a higher percentage of cocoa and more expensive ingredients such as cream and alcohol. We are hoping the cost of chocolate will come down soon which will enable us to review our pricing. Thank you for understanding in the meantime and supporting Whitakers by purchasing our other products.
